Weather

Summer weather in Morzine is often in the high 20’s in July and August.
However, as with most higher altitude destinations, the weather can change quickly, so you should never set off on a hike without spare layers of warm and/or water-proof clothing. However, storms will only normally last just a few hours, giving way to bright cloudless skies again. Although hot during the days, the nights can be a little cooler than on a traditional beach holiday (often a welcome change), so pack a sweater.
June and September are normally cooler, but normally absolutely perfect walking weather, with clear skies and great views.
May and October are normally changeable months and consistently good weather cannot be relied upon.
