The teacher
Sue Delf is a British Wheel of Yoga trained teacher. Since qualifying in 1993 she has studied with many different teachers in different traditions including Astanga, Iyengar, Yoga Therapy and Pregnancy yoga both in England and the USA.
Her approach to yoga, through her primary teachers, follows the tradition of Krishnamacharya and his son Desikachar. Their belief is that yoga is suitable for everyone whatever age or ability and that the yoga can be adapted to suit each person. We don’t have to change or be a certain type to do yoga, the yoga adapts to us.
The aim of yoga is to develop a strong healthy more relaxed body and a calm alert mind. Yoga helps to achieve harmony between body and mind to generally promote and enhance a sense of well-being to help deal with the demands of life.
Sue teaches at various venues in Surrey and at Triyoga in Primrose Hill, London. She also runs yoga weekends and holidays abroad.
Sue works for the Yoga Academy with Simon Low helping to train yoga teachers.
