The teacher

Jayne Storey is a T’ai Chi instructor with 20 years experience. She is on the Executive Committee of the T’ai Chi Union for Great Britain and is currently designing a benchmark programme of instruction of behalf of the TCUGB to set the standard and quality of T’ai Chi teaching in schools, hospitals, sports facilities and leisure centres across the UK, Ireland and Scotland.
Jayne’s approach to T’ai Chi is threefold: it can be learned by anyone of any age or level of fitness and is primarily valuable as a health and longevity art, although it is also a profound system of spiritual development and a devastating form of self-defence.
Jayne’s special passion is teaching T’ai Chi to sports-people, including triathletes and golfers and she recently became the first T’ai Chi instructor world-wide to be endorsed by the Professional Golfers’ Association.
She runs her own school of T’ai Chi in Surrey as well as teaching and lecturing around Europe.
