My background is in the Motor Industry. I have run national garage operations and worked in senior management for motor insurance companies and I’m now a business consultant to a range of organisations. I was dragged along to my first Tango class 6 years ago and just like most men I found it a struggle at first. I found that to dance tango didn’t come naturally to me, it took hours of practice and commitment so I understand what it’s like to be learning. But over time I began to complete moves in a relaxed & confident manner. I then suddenly realised that I was becoming a tanguero, a moment to be always remembered! Since then I have danced in Spain, Italy, France and across the UK and studied with many visiting maestros. I dance 3-4 times a week, including lessons with teachers in London. I’m passionate about sharing this amazing dance and helping people to learn and love it as much as I do.
