You are advised to come correctly prepared form all our summer holidays. Technical equipment can always be hire or will provided by your guide but the following items are a must. As this will make your stay in the mountains more comfortable and enjoyable so allowing you to have a really good holiday.

Summer Essentials

  • Sun block (min factor 15)
  • Sun glasses
  • Sun hat
  • Insect repellent
  • Long sleeved lightweight top
  • Lightweight trousers
  • Swimming costume
  • Towel
  • Warm clothing
  • Rucksack
  • Blister kit
  • Personal insurance details, personal medical info sheet - medications, existing conditions, allergies, medication.
  • Walking poles if used
  • A spare pare of old trainers are essential for canyoning and rafting
  • GOOD QUALITY FOOTWARE! - boots need to be 'broken-in' before you arrive. If they're not they will spoil your holiday. The terrain of the Alps can often be rugged and trainers or light approach shoes do not, in our opinion, provide adequate support.
