Family afternoons
Morzine in August is usually warm and sunny (average 27 deg C) and the afternoons can be spent at the superb open-air pool complex, but there is also an active programme of optional afternoon family activities.
Adventure Park – Leap through trees on ropes, nets and ladders.
Summer Sledging – Take a lift to the top of the Pleney slopes for a stroll and/or lunch with wonderful views then sledge down!
Montriond – Relax at this stunning mountain lake with a picnic. Then have a walk around the lake, take a swim or paddle a canoe.
Donkey Trek – children ride a donkey whilst parents hike to the high alpine meadows and a rustic cheese farm to see animals, view cheese making and taste local produce.
Les Gets – Visit this pretty village to bounce on trampolines or race min go-karts.

The historic town of Annecy, the lake towns of Evian, Thonon and medieval Yvoire - classed as "one of the most beautiful villages in France" - are close by.
Within an hour you could be in the famed alpine town of Chamonix and visiting Mont Blanc - the highest mountain in Europe.
