Le Tour

The route of the 2006 Tour includes a visit to Morzine. Stage 17 finishes in Morzine on July 20th 2006. It's the longest and final mountain stage of the tour. The race restarts from Morzine with another long stage to the town of Macon on July 21st, undoubtedly it will give you a holiday to remember.
The area is steeped in Tour de France heritage, the classic 'Col de Joux Plane' is on its doorstep, then there's the Col de Ramaz climbed during the centenary tour in 2003 and the unrelenting Route de Avoriaz.
There are lots of great routes to choose from whether you're a novice looking for a gentle scenic tour or racer looking for a testing training run you'll find something great to ride in our area.
