Tour de France 2010
Yes............. its true the Tour de France is coming to Morzine this year!
Morzine/Avoriaz will host 2 mountain stages of the 2010 Tour de France
Stage 8, Sunday 11th July
From Station des Rousses to the Avoriaz ski station a total of 189km.
With 2 catagory 1 climbs , the Col de la Ramaz and the finish in Avoriaz.
Monday July 12th is a rest day in Morzine
Stage 9, Tuesday 13th July
From Morzine Avoriaz to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne a total of 204km
With 4 climbs the Col de la Colombière, Col des Aravis, Col des Saises, Col de la Madeleine.
To witness this world class event and soak-up the atmopsphere we are offering B & B accommodation in our superb town centre Chalet Savoy at £75 per person per night or £180 per person for 3 nights.

The Chalet Savoy is 5 minutes walk from the town square and just 50m from the Super Morzine ski lift for access to Avoriaz.

Alternatively there is the Chalet Le Nantégué at £150 per person for 3 days half board. The chalet is about 12mins walk to the village centre.
